Mr Mann is a consultant podiatrist who has retired from podiatric surgery. He is both British and American trained and consults at the Medwyn Centre with the Advanced Footcare Group. He has been in practice for 30 plus years and his previous surgical speciality was in subtalar arthroereisis for the treatment of acquired flat foot.

He has a special interest in clinical biomechanics and gait analysis, particularly in relation to skeletal malalignment management and the treatment of painful foot conditions, specialising in the treatment of acute and chronic foot pain.

He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Podiatric Surgeons, a member of the Royal College of Podiatry and the Society of Expert Witnesses. He is an annotated surgeon under HCPC regulations, though no longer practises surgery.

He has written papers and presented to learned societies over the years, both national and international. He now concentrates on clinical work and finding innovative solutions to foot problems. Mr Mann's research includes clinical biomechanics and the control of adult-acquired flat foot deformities, including those caused by hypermobility and Ehlers-Danlos syndrome.

Mr Mann is available for private work on a self-paid basis. He no longer takes insurance work.

Nigel's special interests as an Extended Scope Practitioner enable him to treat a wide range of musculoskeletal (MSK) and dermatological foot and ankle problems. His treatments include physical therapies such as joint mobilisation and manipulation, palliative strapping and orthotic therapy, as well as soft tissue and joint injection therapy using steroid, visco-elastic or saline injections, both guided and unguided.

He also uses ultrasound imaging and extracorporeal shockwave therapy for the treatment of plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendonitis. For long-standing verrucae and corns, Nigel provides electrosurgical correction, while Swift microwave therapy is also available for the treatment of verrucae.

Pippa is currently on extended maternity leave.

Pippa qualified from the University of Huddersfield in 2008 and has since worked in private practice in Warrington and developed a busy private practice in Stockport. She provides all types of foot care but specialises in biomechanics and musculoskeletal podiatry, with a particular interest in sports people and sports medicine.

Pippa is a competitive runner, cyclist and sailor and has represented Great Britain at a number of World Cup sailing events as well as winning various national sailing competitions. Since moving to Dorking from Manchester, Pippa has joined the Advanced Footcare Group and is looking forward to continuing to provide a high standard of biomechanics and sports injury rehabilitation in Surrey.

Natalie graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Podiatry in 1999 from Brighton University. Following this she worked for 4 years in Israel concentrating on the diabetic foot in the community. She returned to the UK in 2003 to pursue a career in Podiatric Surgery, completing her PG Cert in Theory of Podiatric Surgery from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh in 2009.

She has gained valuable experience in this field as well as treating all aspects of foot pain, working in London, Walsall and Portsmouth. She currently works in Brighton in private practice and a part-time NHS position for Solent. She has been with the Advanced Footcare Group since 2008, with a main interest in surgery, biomechanics and the painful foot in both the chronic and acute phase.

Mrs Hemsley graduated from the Edinburgh School of Chiropody in 1985. Building on her experience in the NHS she developed a successful private practice in Edinburgh. During this time she developed an interest in sports podiatry which culminated in being part of the podiatric support for athletes at the Commonwealth Games and both the Glasgow and Edinburgh Marathons.

Since moving to Dorking, Audrey has continued her private practice whilst raising her family. She has a particular focus on general podiatry and the care of the elderly, and brings the highest standards of foot care to every patient at the clinic.
